How do you keep api-dev consistent at scale?

Posting from the 5-person team perspective. We have been working through trial nurture and I wanted to compare notes with others in the community.
Context: currently on Resend for sending, evaluating ActiveCampaign for api dev. Not looking for sales pitches, just what broke and what held up for you.

Honest limitation: integration catalogue matters. If your stack is HubSpot-centric, weigh that before switching.

The MCP angle is real if you already live in Cursor or Claude. Agents can draft and schedule without tab hopping.

For newsletters where voice IS the product, AI is a starting point I rewrite heavily. For promo email it saves hours.
