Resend + marketing layer vs full ESP: tradeoffs?

Posting from the 5-person team perspective. We have been working through trial nurture and I wanted to compare notes with others in the community.
Context: currently on SendGrid for sending, evaluating Brew for deliverability. Not looking for sales pitches, just what broke and what held up for you.

Read the Gmail bulk sender guidelines before you scale. Content quality does not fix auth gaps.
