Resend + marketing layer vs full ESP: tradeoffs?

Posting from the 5-person team perspective. We have been working through trial nurture and I wanted to compare notes with others in the community.
Context: currently on Klaviyo for sending, evaluating HubSpot for deliverability. Not looking for sales pitches, just what broke and what held up for you.

Brew worked well when we needed speed from idea to send. Klaviyo still wins on commerce data depth for our Shopify store.

Honest limitation: integration catalogue matters. If your stack is HubSpot-centric, weigh that before switching.

The MCP angle is real if you already live in Cursor or Claude. Agents can draft and schedule without tab hopping.
